I’m a Gen X writer and former journalist. Cinderella had a fairy godmother. I write. Writing is my superpower.
It took me a long time to realize that I didn’t choose writing — it chose me. Writing is how I process life, gain clarity, find comfort, and contribute a shred of good to the world. A book will happen at some point, and you can read more about my journey [here].
Over the past few years I’ve been navigating a major life transition. It’s been painful, but the best outcome so far is that I restarted my blog and completed my bachelor’s degree.
I’m not big on niches — at least not right now. If one emerges organically, I’ll run with it. For now, I share reflections on truth, beauty, healthy(ish) living, transitioning into a new season, simplifying, clarifying values, and focusing on what works. I write from the heart with minimal overthinking — typos and imperfect syntax included at no extra charge.
With over a decade of experience in journalism and strategic communications, I’ve authored and edited more than 2,000 articles, press releases, and multimedia pieces. During my time as a journalist I won two back-to-back local awards and respective leglistlative recognitions for my work. Today, I help organizations and individuals clarify their message and tell it effectively. I offer:
Strategic Communications Consulting – helping you craft clear, authentic narratives.
Content Leadership – managing projects, teams, and editorial workflows
Localization & Translation Guidance – making content resonate in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, with cultural and linguistic accuracy.
Communication Audit & Content Services — I review your messaging and deliverables to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact. I also create press kits, write articles and press releases, and develop content that helps your organization connect with its audience effectively.
If you want help telling your story, connecting with your audience, or translating your vision into actionable communications, reach out!
I do my best to live authentically, proactively, and joyfully — and I bring that same intentionality to the work I do with others.
